Sana Khareghani has 25+ years’ experience in technology and business across the private and public sectors. She has worked as a software engineer in big corporations and start-ups, as a management consultant advising C-suite internationally, and in HMG, as the inaugural Head of the UK Government Office for AI leading the team to publish the UK's National AI Strategy and invest £1billion in the UK AI ecosystem. Sana is currently Chief Strategy Officer at Carbon3.ai, an AI Infrastructure company delivering resilient, lower carbon, high-performance capacity to enable the UK AI transformation. Sana is also Professor of Practice in AI at King's College London and AI Policy lead for Responsible AI UK, a £35 million grant seeding and connecting responsible AI research and innovation.
