Platform assembles important actors in digital infrastructure with investors, owners, enterprises and technology experts. Our Council of Peers is made up of highly qualified professionals with a proven track record in these fields.

Organising the Celebration of Industry Peers with the highest standards of integrity is crucial, especially as we are considered to be the leading accolades in our sector. Maintaining high standards of integrity ensures that the accolades are fair, transparent, and objective, which ultimately enhances its credibility and reputation.
By upholding the highest standards of integrity, Platform, as organisers of the Celebration can gain the trust and respect of the participants, members, and the wider community. This will also encourage more people to participate in the process leading to a higher quality of nominations and ultimately driving innovation and progress in our sector.

Moreover, running this competition for the Celebration of Peers with integrity sends a clear message to all stakeholders that ethical values are taken seriously, and this can help establish a positive culture of integrity and honesty within the industry.

The Council have undertaken to manage the competition with the highest standards of integrity which is not only important but also necessary for maintaining the trust and confidence of all stakeholders and ensuring the success and impact of the Celebration and the accolades conferred.

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy and personal data are protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

We shall only process your personal data in accordance with the parameters below. Any such further written processing instructions required by you shall be incorporated into this schedule and shall be the subject of a formal amendment to this contract.

  • demographic residential/office address information such as postcode, preferences and area of expertise.

What we do with the information we gather
We require this information for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping as may be required by law and other relevant authorities;
  • To showcase your profile on our members page in the interests of transparency; and
  • To contact you to update you and get your feedback on the accolades.

Duration of the processing
The data will be held by us until the end of the engagement of the Council. At that point, we destroy all personal data gathered in the pursuance of this engagement save for that which we are required to retain by law.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Controlling your personal information
We will not sell or distribute your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please contact us. If you believe that any information, we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect or delete any data we hold on you upon request.

Status of Members of the Council of Peers
All Members of the Council of Peers have an unpaid position. There will be no remuneration, nor will there be any benefits in kind. The time each member provides is extremely valuable, and we sincerely appreciate their contributions.
